The following workshops will be presented on a monthly basis over the next year. Please check back as we add new topics and dates. The workshops will be presented by a consortium of experienced clinicians and are designed to be thoughtful and provide useful tools to professionals working in the field.
January 20, 2012/ 8:30 AM-11AM- Supervision Candidate Screening- If you have ever taken on a supervisee that you later regretted you will like this seminar. We will examine the assessment and screening of licensing candidates as a means to determinng the weaknesses and strengths of the candidate and any potential risks to you as a supervisor. We will address initial assessment and contract design for supervision, look at crafting an effective plan for developing a strong and efficacious, working relationship with supervisees and explore helping the supervisee develop skills they need to succeed. (3 hours)
February 17, 2012-Mental Health and Nutrition- In this 2 hour workshop we wil examine nutritional issues that may lead to mental health problems. We will spend some time examining the underlying neurochemistry involved as well as nutritional interventions for better emotional and cognitive functioning. (2 hours)
Two hour workshops are $30. Three hour workshops are $40. There is a $5 discount on 2 hour and a $10 discount on 3 hour workshops when 2 or more are paid in advance.

SUPERVISOR's CREDENTIALING WORKSHOP for LPC's and LMFT's
November 11, 2011?8:30AM to 4:30PM & January 13, 2012/8:30AM to 4:30Pm
LPC/LMFTSUPERVISOR ACCREDITATION WORKSHOP- The workshop will provide 45 hours of CEU's and credential the individual to supervise individuals who are working towards their license. The workshop is conducted in two, full-day sessions approximately 4-6 weeks apart as prescribed by the LPC/LMFT board, with required reading between sessions. Cost of the seminar is $375.00 There are no additional materials you must purchase. All materials are provided. Due to the limited number of places in each seminar, a nonrefundable $100 deposit is required at least 2 weeks prior to the first day you plan to attend and will not be refunded if cancellation occurs less than 10 days prior to the first date of attendance. (45 hours of CEU's)
